My Favorite lakes to fish

In the spring, we troll shorelines for Salmon and Brook Trout using sewn-on smelts and tandem flies.  Once water temps rise a bit we target the deep water for a chance at a Lake Trout of a lifetime!

When Ice Fishing season opens up, you will find us fishing with tip-ups and Jigging Lake Trout and Whitefish with the use of sonar and underwater cameras.

West Grand Lake

The the14,340-acre lake is situated in a wilderness setting in Maine's Downeast region.
This lake is one of the largest salmon lakes in Maine.

West Grand has a healthy population of Salmon Lake Trout and Whitefish
Lodging for these Ice trips generally needs to be booked months ahead as there aren't many local options.   I also offer "Stay on the Ice Packages".  Reach out to me for a custom fit experience meeting your expectations.  No fish storys here!

Chesuncook Lake

Maine’s third-largest lake. Chesuncook Lake in the Maine Highlands region is best known as a starting point for whitewater rafting on the Penobscot River and for the landlocked salmon fishery

Chesuncook Lake is another Gem in the North Maine Woods.  Salmon are plentiful, the White Perch and Cusk Fishing is spectacular.
